Visioning: Tuning in to Spirit’s activity in your life—8 weeks
Visioning is the practice of catching Spirit’s ideas as they unfold in your life. As you become more aware of Spirit working in your life, you readily turn to Spirit first before taking any action. Knowing how to ‘listen’ to Spirit’s ideas and how to differentiate between all the other messages that pass through our awareness becomes an important skill in living a spiritual life. Visioning is about the personal transformation that occurs when you let Spirit inform everything you do! In this class, you learn how to vision and experience the power of visioning with others.
The Heart-Mind-Body Connection—8 weeks
What is the relationship between our thoughts and our experience of well-being? What information from recent scientific studies exists about the mind-body connection? This class includes recent material on heart coherence and the ability of the heart field to reduce stress and facilitate the body’s healing response. Ernest Holmes wrote that healing is a revealing of Truth. This class includes exercises to increase our sensory awareness of our wholeness so that we can experience it as the Truth. Resting in this sensation, we have the opportunity to experience ourselves as divine, which in turn changes our biochemistry to support healing. We also explore the benefits of self-love, self-acceptance, self-forgiveness as well as the role surrender plays in our experience of healing.
The Essential Ernest Holmes: Feeling the heart behind the teaching—10 weeks
Ernest Holmes (1887-1960) was an internationally renowned teacher of religious psychology, a beloved scholar, mystic, and prolific author, who founded the entire Religious Science movement of Practitioners, Ministers, churches, and teaching centers. He believed in a religion that was hopeful, practical, democratic, and all-encompassing, and built around a practice of prayer in which one ―prays the answer instead of the problem.
The Essential Ernest Holmes delves into some of Ernest Holmes, less well known writings, feasting on his quiet, devotional writings as well as his impassioned, chalk-in-hand teachings to future leaders. His love of people and facility for seeing past their problems into the heart of their eternal being anticipates modern psychology, while relating the human condition to a limitless ability to choose what to think and how to feel.
Financial Freedom: Duplicating the nature of Spirit in your financial affairs
